On Friday at 2:45 a.m. EST the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from 4 p.m. EST until Saturday 7 a.m. EST for Emmet County.

Up to three inches of snow is forecast in the city and across the region from late Saturday into Sunday morning.
