COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Snow blanketed portions of Ohio on Saturday, prompting some counties to issue snow emergencies, including Franklin and Delaware. According to the Ohio Committee for Severe Weather Awareness,
Confidence is growing in accumulating snow moving into central Ohio during the afternoon. At this time, no advisories or watches are in place, but this could be a plowable/shovelable winter event. At this time, there don't appear to be any areas in the 10TV viewing area which are expected to receive significantly more or less snow than other areas

The Dec. 13 storm, which is expected to continue into the early-morning hours of Dec. 14, could dump as much as 7 inches of snow in some parts of the region. Most of the lower portion of Ohio, from Columbus to the Kentucky border, and from Indiana to Pennsylvania, is under a winter weather warning.
The National Weather Service forecasts snowfall in Ohio with 2-4 inches expected, affecting travel and prompting snow-clearing efforts, with a return to dry but cold weather later Tuesday.
Light snow may return Dec. 3, but the bigger concern for central Ohio will be plunging single-digit temperatures.
